In the Office,
At the schoolhouse,
Sitting there from 7 to 4
Sits our secretary, Ms Pamela
Looking out the office door.

She's so busy answering phone lines
Typing letters, bagging ice,
Helping parents, calming students
Treating Mr. Kilbourne extra nice.

Making copies, making coffee,
Making sure schedules are typed just right,
All the while thinking of her
College classes she's been taking every night
 

Soon she'll be leaving
So she can go teaching,
She'll be walking out that office door,
And gee we're going to miss her
Miss her ever, ever more.

Two years later in a classroom,
Miss Pam's standing at her door,
She'll be busy grading papers,
Teaching happily forever more!
