YOUR CHILD’S CAFETERIA ACCOUNT IS A PREPAYMENT ACCOUNT.   

WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN YOUR CHILD’S ACCOUNT IS LOW OR OUT OF FUNDS.

 WE ARE SENDING NOTES HOME WITH YOUR CHILD WHEN THEY HAVE ONLY TWO LUNCHES, ONE LUNCH, NO LUNCHES LEFT OR HAVE OVERDRAWN.

PLEASE CHECK THEIR POCKETS FOR THESE NOTES DAILY!

A NOTE FROM YOUR KITCHEN STAFF:

Do your kids tell you that the lunch lines are really long?  Do you have a hard time finding change in the morning to send for their lunch?  Did you know that YOU can help make lunch service easier and faster for your child?  You can do this by taking advantage of our pre-payment system.

Every child has a cafeteria account and payments may be made any time during the morning in the office.  Pay in any denomination, and it will be posted to your child's account by lunchtime.  Students will be notified when their account is running low on money and parents will be notified when a child has run out and had to charge that day's lunch.  Prompt payment at that time will be expected.  We appreciate your participation in the lunch program, and with your help, it will run more efficiently.  Thank you!

PLEASE HELP US!!!

We are working with two recycling companies, Cartridges for Kids and Empties 4 Cash.
They pay cash to organizations for:

empty inkjet printer cartridges
laser printer and fax cartridges
used cell phones**
used laptops**
used palm pilots and blackberries**
used iPods**
and used video game systems**
**include all cords and accessories if possible.

This is such an easy fundraiser...we're not asking you to buy anything or write a check.  Just take something that you are throwing in the trash, send it to school with your child and that is instant cash for Valley View!!!
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS:
* Collect any of the items listed above from home, relatives, and friends.
*Collect any of these items from your parents' employer.
*Drop them into the cartridge recycling box located at the school.
*** Our school will receive $$$ for every item we recycle!
